A professional education platform for psychiatrists, psychologists, trainees and clinical leaders, founded and led by a UK-trained Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. It runs three pathways: medico-legal education, examination preparation through The CASC Academy, and professional development through MedLex Foundations.

Psychiatrists and psychologists who write or may write for courts; MRCPsych CASC candidates and others sitting observed clinical examinations; and clinicians moving into leadership or building a career beyond the clinic. Each pathway states its audience on its own page.

Which programmes are available now?

The CASC Academy is open. Writing Psychiatric Evidence is taking a waitlist for its next cohort. The Foundations programmes are launching; you can register interest and hear when dates are set.

Are the programmes accredited or CPD-certified?

Accepted Answer

Programmes are independent and are not currently accredited by any college or regulator. Certificates of completion are issued for The CASC Academy. Formal CPD and accreditation are planned as programmes mature and will be stated clearly on each programme page when in place.
